Retail : wool ( tweed) Chanel suits now sell for more than $8995. This suit was previously owned by philanthropist Florence Irving and is a stunning vintage item owned by one of history’s most generous philanthropists.
Condition: 6/10- this is a vintage item that has some wear and tear that is age appropriate. Brand tag fraying, some tiny spots as shown in photos, velvet buttons need a brush. Top button is loose . Minor stains as shown in photos. Jacket is weighted down with weights added as to ensure jacket stays in its perfect shape when worn, no brand/size/ fabric tag on matching skirt. Color loss on zipper end. Waist of skirt was made elasticated therefore hand stitching is visible on the inside waist band. Inside of jacket is lined with pink silk fabric with the CC logo. Collection 26, style 20903 ( from the 1991 collection). Jacket bust approximately 48 cms and length 52 cms, skirt waist 45 cms approximately and length approximately 60 cms. This suit is classic and elegant and can be worn for many years to come!
